Perception of Place

Below are a few images of ceramic work I exhibited in my 2008 show titled, "Perception of Place". Pieces for this show were created between May and October of 2008. The inspiration for the work comes largely from my exploration of what it means to be in a place. The combination of aesthtic and utilitarian choices/designs is something I am deeply concerned with and these pots show an expressive experiement dealing with those combinations.
